The Directors of Peter Newman Flooring Limited take health & safety very seriously. We recognise that successful safety and environmental management is crucial. Our policy is to achieve and maintain a safe work environment for all our employees, contractors and all others who may be affected by the Company’s operations.
We are registered as an accredited company within the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) which indicates that we have demonstrated compliance with, and sound management of, current basic health and safety legislation.
Our operatives and management hold CSCS cards at the appropriate level, having passed the CSCS Health and Safety test and are trained on a range of different aspects of our work holding qualifications at various levels in Manual Handling, COSHH, Asbestos Awareness, Unlicensed Removal of Asbestos, First Aid At Work, Mental First Aid, Risk Assessments, Hot Works, SSSTS, IOSH and NEBOSH
